Remove the GM PO1 P59 PCM VATS and MORE for FREE Using Your PC LS Swap Engine Management System

In this Part 2 video I show how I connected a stock LS pcm to my pc with the harness I just made. Then, use my pc and some free programs (PCM Hammer and Universal Patcher) to delete the VATS, Delete the rear O2 sensors and tweak the temp the dual fans will activeate. I would still recommend a professional tune before running on the street, but you can do this basic work to allow you to test run your engine and get you going. Thank you for watching!

Having an engine test run stand is a great idea, however the key word is "run". In order to get an LS engine to run on a stand or anywhere else means the pcm needs to be tweaked to start and run (unless you go carb). So if you only have one pcm to delete the VATS from, you could just contact any number of "tuners" in your area to perform this task...usually at a cost of $100-200. IF you have more than 1 pcm to work on then maybe you should consider a way to do this yourself and save a ton of Benjamins! In my previous video (Part 1), I showed how I built a bench top harness to connect your pcm to your pc. Cost could easily be under $100. Don't let it intimidate you, try it!
