This is a simple circuit which can be implemented on the front-end of a radio receiver or a broadcast radio. The tuning coil and capacitor needs to be changed depending on the band of reception, such as the medium wave, short wave, or VHF FM. Connect a twin wire or dual wire, one connecting the antenna and the other connecting the electrical ground of the radio or the wire connected to the negative pole of the battery or DC supply. The other end of the wires are connected to the corresponding terminal for signal output and to the electrical ground of the circuit. Turn the capacitor fully and tune it to an appropriate spot where the signals will sharply rise.
