Yume Nikki is one of the OG classic rpg maker horror games, but the horror element of it leaves it up to the player to spook themselves. A bulk of the game is just wandering around and enjoying the sights of Madotsuki's dreamscape, be they a fun time or straight up nightmare. It's basically pixel LSD dream simulator, but lite on the LSD part of it.

We continue to wander amongst the lucid dream to find effects and meet little buddies. I do a lot of backtracking in order to find untread paths, and succeeded in a couple areas. However, I am getting close to the end of what I can find on my own, although a chatter was kinda enough to help give me a little direction. I had forgotten that RNG does play a role in more aspects of the game than just making Uboa show up because she gets annoyed with you messing with her room light.
