When moving from beginner to intermediate, one of the key techniques for a blues player is to be able to 'play over the changes' this means when we play, we treat each chord in the progression a little differently in order to better harmonise with the underlying chord.
This lesson is broken into 3 parts:
An introduction and showing how to target the root note of the underlying chord
Adding in extra notes from the underlying chords
An example solo with a breakdown of the licks
