How Traditional Bushmen Camped in the Australian Gold Rush

In this video, I head to the historic Mining town of Walhalla in the Victorian High Country with my son to camp as a traditional gold digger from the 1800s in Australia.

Using only the type of gear, clothing, and food that would have been available to prospectors in the 1860s, I recreate what life might have been like for the pioneers who pushed into these remote valleys, chasing fortune in the gold rush.
