East Lancashire Railway Steam Gala 2025 - LMS Stanier Mogul 13268 & Ivatt 46441 Return to Steam!

Day 2 (18/10/2025) of the East Lancashire Railway’s Autumn Steam Gala 2025, held from 17th–19th October — the final large-scale steam event of the year!

This year’s lineup is one for the history books, featuring two very special guest locomotives:
🚂 LMS Stanier Mogul No. 13268 – the sole survivor of its class, visiting the ELR for the very first time, courtesy of the Severn Valley Railway and Stanier Mogul Fund.
🚂 Ivatt 2MT No. 46441 – making a much-welcomed return to the ELR after more than 20 years away, freshly overhauled and ready for action!

They join an impressive home fleet including BR Standard 4MT 80097, LMS ‘A Class’ 12322, 3F ‘Jinty’ 7138, LMS ‘Pug’ 11243.
