Melbourne Zoo is the oldest zoo of Australia which opened on 1862.
You can see many amazing animals here like gorillas, lemurs, Asian elephants, orangutang, tigers, otters, kangaroos, koalas, wombats, goannas, native birds and many others.
Butterfly House' is one of the best attraction where you can see lots of colourful butterflies.
Dino Trail is also a new attraction of this zoo to experience the existence of dinosaurs. Zoo has lots of picnic grounds and food shops.
Getting here is easy either by public transport or driving as lots of parking available on site.
