The ESOLS Flow Through an Orifice Apparatus is designed to study fluid behavior through a small opening by measuring key parameters such as water head, jet velocity, and flow rate. It features a clear acrylic tank with a base-fitted orifice and a traverse-mounted pitot tube for precise measurement of jet and vena contracta diameters. The setup allows students to calculate the Coefficients of Discharge (CD), Velocity (CV), and Contraction (CC). Manometer tubes display pitot and total head, enabling clear visualization and accurate analysis of flow characteristics.
