Our Trek begins with the Sea Turtles: Ancient Survivors, here we watch Green Sea Turtle Hang who was brought to mote's animal hospital in 1992 with severe head injuries. Despite treatment, Hang Tough is blind and can not survive in the wild. He shares his habitat with many tropical fish.

Around the Corner we find the homes of Loggerhead Turtles Shelley & Montego, both females were born in 1977 and raised at a university in North Carolina before arriving at the Mote Aquarium in 1998. We will also catch a glimpse of Squirt a Kemp's Ridley Turtle who was found floating in the Peace River in April of 2015, Squirt had been struck by a boat propeller.

Born at the Miami SeaQuarium, Hugh & Buffett came to Mote in 1996. These Manatees are the only in the world trained to participate in special Manatee research projects.

Otters & Their Waters - Here we meet North American River Otters Huck, Pippi & Jane.

The Teeth Beneath - houses spectacled Caimans as well as American Alligators.

In the Oh Baby! Life Cycles of the Sea Exhibit we learn how ocean life renews itself. Discovering the methods of ocean animal reproduction & romance. Housed here are species of Seahorses, Garden Eels, Jellyfish and Pipefish that has never bee on display at mote before.
