“Makom Shemesh (Sunplace)” is the title track from Jaffa Road’s debut album Sunplace, presented here as a live, off-the-floor studio performance recorded at Canterbury Music Company.

The song sets original music to a poem by acclaimed contemporary Israeli poet Haviva Pedaya.

This performance was filmed during the pandemic as part of a series of intimate in-studio concerts made possible with support from the Canada Council for the Arts. It is part of a larger performance that was used at several on line summer music festivals in 2021.
