⚓ Harwich Maritime Heritage – Where History Meets the Estuary
Harwich has long been a strategic port guarding the entrance to the Rivers Stour and Orwell. It was home to the Royal Navy Yard, the Packet Service, and the Mayflower’s captain, Christopher Jones. Today, it blends working harbour life with heritage trails and public art.

🚢 LV18 Light Vessel – Floating Radio & Film Star
Moored at Ha’penny Pier, LV18 is Britain’s last surviving manned light vessel. Built in 1958, she served off the Kent coast before retiring to Harwich. Now a museum ship, she hosts exhibitions on pirate radio and maritime history.
