Alif khan Masjid also known as Alif Khan Bhukai or Khan Masjid was located at Dholka Gujarat, 30 kms away from Ahmedabad, build in 1453 A.D. by Alif Khan Bhukai, a childhood friend of Sultan Mahmud Begadha (1458-1511) A.D. Architecture was Persian style, Mosque area was length 150 ft, width 42 ft , the Mosque divided into three hall and each hall was 100 ft in square, Minarets height was 200 ft. The entire building construction of bricks and lime stone used.
Even a softly spoken voice resound through entire mosque.
The rare walls has exquisitely beautiful and artistic decoration akin to very dedicate embroidary with white thread created in a most graceful manner on a spread of black cloth, this decorations also presents an exclusive sampling of Arabic calligraphy confined within smaller designed spaces. Venerate words and phrases of 'Allah', 'Muhammad' and Quranic formulae of 'Bismillah' appear.
