What started as a “quick weekend project” turned into Dust Storm 2025. I decided to sand down our wooden bathroom countertop — and in the process, gave our freshly painted walls and cabinets (and everything else) a free dust treatment.
After hours of sanding and scrubbing every corner of our bathroom (twice), I sealed the countertop with a polyurethane that… let’s just say, wasn’t love at first sight. Now I’m torn between living with it or diving back in for a lighter, wood-grain finish — which means more dust, more chaos, and probably more regret.
