In this video Lea-anne and I explore a side track off the Jim Soorely bikeway, in Brisbane Australia. Lea-Anne had noticed this wetland area on Google Earth. This is The Kedron Brook Wetland. We have ridden past this side track many a time without knowing about the hidden wetlands.
We were pleasantly surprised and amazed at the beauty and tranquility of the scenery we discovered. We then continued to the Criterion where we saw many cyclists racing on the track. When we left the criterion we travelled a bit further on the Kedron Brook bikeway, to Kalinga Park, before making the return trip. A slight deviation on the way home saw us cycling around the Nudgee waterhole circuit, with some boardwalks and rainforest areas. We love to visit what Lea- anne calls the ancestry or spirit tree. Sadly, I no longer have Mis Molly with me anymore, as I had to say my goodbye to her a couple of weeks ago. I have a small tribute to Molly at the end of this video RIP my beautiful girl.
