Robert Wetzel performs his own solo guitar arrangement of the second movement Larghetto originally composed by Antonio Vivaldi (1671-1748), from the great Italian Baroque composer's Concerto in D major for solo violin and orchestra with continuo.
This video was recorded on Monday night, September 22, 2025.
The cedar top Spanish classical guitar used in this video is fitted with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard with palosanto rosewood back and sides, and it was constructed in 1976 for Robert Wetzel by the great Spanish luthier, Miguel Rodriguez, in Cordoba, Spain.
