Obus/Trolleybus 1:87 (H0) Modell

Einer der historischen Wilkinson-Obusse (H0) wurde mit einem Fahrmotor ausgestattet, beleuchtet und digitalisiert. Die ersten Fahrten auf der anspruchsvollen Teststrecke (Rumpelpiste, Ausweichen) sind - nach Auskunft des Chauffeurs - sehr zufriedenstellend verlaufen.

Test drive of a H0-scale (1:87) model trolleybus. Those vehicles (UeH IIIs - Uerdingen-Henschel) ran in Solingen, Germany, or Salzburg, Austria, (and other European cities) in the fifties. The very same coach is nowadays still existing and running in the Solingen ETB museum.

For the model railroaders among us: The brand new model is motored, digitized (DCC), illuminated (mind the indicator/turn signal) and guided by the "Faller Car System" magnet wire (hidden in the paving).
