On June 13th, 2013, the AeroVelo's Atlas Human-Powered Helicopter captured the long standing AHS Sikorsky Prize with a flight lasting 64.1 seconds and reaching an altitude of 3.3 metres. (www.aerovelo.com)
This video contains the four "line cameras" that were used to determine the exact time of liftoff and landing, in order to calculate the official time of flight. For more information see the "FAI World Record Claim" document posted on the AeroVelo website (www.aerovelo.com).
