Some days behind the wheel just feel like a test...
This video was filmed just before Easter — a day that started with a simple plan: three deliveries. But of course, reality had other ideas.
🛑 First stop: Leeds.
Tight estate, no turning space, cars parked everywhere. I had to reverse into another company’s yard just to get out. After that, I had to leave the estate completely and loop around Leeds city streets to re-enter from another side.
🚚 Last stop: Sheffield.
A narrow dead-end with one loading bay already occupied. I waited awkwardly, parked on the street, blocking traffic — and just when you think it couldn’t get worse… another lorry arrived. We were all stuck. Somehow, we got out of it.
🛻 On the way back: I made a collection in Manchester (off-camera) and passed a car crash near our yard — a car flipped on its side after hitting a pedestrian refuge.
🔧 Plans changed. Tension high. No room to breathe.
This is real UK trucking. No filters. No fancy edits. Just the job as it is — unpredictable, stressful, and sometimes dangerous.
