Farmers in Jajpur district are growing increasingly anxious after receiving paddy procurement tokens, as mandis are yet to be opened by the district administration. Despite waiting for over 15 days since token issuance, neither procurement centres have started functioning nor has the shortage of gunny bags been resolved. As a result, farmers are repeatedly visiting the Supply Department and the District Collector’s office, demanding immediate action.
