🙏 Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji - The Ninth Nanak
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji (1 April 1621 - 24 November 1675), revered as the Ninth Nanak, was born at Guru Ke Mahal, Amritsar. The son of the sixth Guru, Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, he was originally named Tyag Mal, signifying his renunciation of worldly attachments.
Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is remembered as "Hind Di Chadar" (Shield of India) for his supreme sacrifice protecting religious freedom. When the Kashmiri Pandits sought his help against forced conversions under Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, Guru Ji stood firm in defense of religious liberty for all. His martyrdom at Chandni Chowk, Delhi (where Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib now stands) represents one of history's greatest sacrifices for human rights and religious freedom.
Guru Ji's spiritual compositions, comprising 115 hymns in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, emphasize detachment from worldly possessions, fearlessness in adversity, and steadfast devotion to the Divine. His bani offers profound guidance for navigating life's challenges with equanimity and spiritual strength.

📜 Gurbani Shabad with English Translation
ਭੈ ਕਾਹੂ ਕਉ ਦੇਤ ਨਹਿ ਨਹਿ ਭੈ ਮਾਨਤ ਆਨ ॥
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਨਿ ਰੇ ਮਨਾ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਤਾਹਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ॥੧੬॥
English Translation:
One who does not frighten anyone, and who is not afraid of anyone else —
Says Nanak, listen, O mind: call him spiritually wise. ||16||
