【MAD】Zeta Gundam (Ζガンダム) - "Better Days Are Coming" (Neil Sedaka)

In 1972, Neil Sedaka released the album Solitaire with the song "Better Days Are Coming" as one of the included singles. In the 1980s, Tomino met with Neil and the two agreed to adapt the song into Zeta Gundam's first theme song, Z Toki wo Koete (Z・刻をこえて), AKA Zeta - Beyond the Times.

This is an AMV of my favorite Gundam show, created using the original song which inspired the opening.

Unfortunately for American fans, the high cost of Neil Sedaka music rights outside of Japan means the Japanese opening will never be officially released with the show in the west. However, now you can take a look at what might have been with an alternate take on this beloved tune...

This is my transformative edit where I create an artistic narrative that reflects on Zeta Gundam's events and fit them with a classic english adaptation of the original theme song.
