Saturday Feb 21st 2015 - Parkgate Cheshire UK. This was supposed to be one of the highest tides of the decade. It didn't have the wind behind it so in the end it didn't turn out as impressive as it could have been. It was an amazing sight though - and almost impossible to capture through the camera lens. Our eyes are have a much wider field of view. The water didn't manage to cover the tops of the grasses so it doesn't look like it reached the wall in some places - but it did more or less all the way along. The cries of the birds are from the sound track of a video I took the day before near the Harp Inn. It was impossible to record sound on the Saturday at Parkgate - too much traffic and people shouting into mobile phones.
