Almost two years after recording this review, I finally decided that it was the right time to take a deep dive into one of the more interesting bus types at Park Ridge Transit, now that Gemilang has gone from being a niche body builder in Australia, to a major market force!
While Gemilang still has a relatively small presence in Queensland, they have become a popular option in Sydney and Melbourne, and Gemilang bodies are being increasing paired with BYD electric bus chassis.
This 2016 Scania isn't quite so revolutionary, but it is still a solid bit of kit, with decent power and torque, and highlights that Park Ridge saw the potential well before many other operators did.
