Chen Xiaowang 陳小旺
is 19th-generation lineage holder of Chen-style Taijiquan - 陳氏太极拳
Chén Shì Tàijíquán - and one of the few Chinese Martial
Artists with a 9th duan, awarded by the Chinese Wushu
Federation, both for his personal Taiji achievements and
for his tireless efforts to promote Taiji in the world.
Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang was born in 1945 in Chenjiagou
(Chen Village), Henan Province, China. He is a direct descendant of
the founder of Taijiquan, Chen Wangting, and grandson of
Chen Fa'ke, who is considered the greatest Taiji master at the beginning of
the 20th century.
