Flowing water is always magical much less when it's found in the desert! How about having it to yourself, perfect solitude to immerse your every sense in wilderness beauty without distractions or interruption, completely to yourself. Cooking and eating good food and being with friends. Sound like my kind of outdoor wilderness camping experience!

As many of you know, I'm an inventor who develops camping gear, mostly oriented towards cooking in the back country. Over the years I've developed several stove and cookware systems to suit a variety of circumstances and camping styles. In this video I went with a more minimal solo oriented cooks set combined with our Freestyle fire pit style wood-burning cookstove. To save weight I left some of the convenience pieces and parts home bringing the minimum for what I planned to do.

I know that having a variety of product options can make decisions more difficult. I think the easiest way to get into the family of firebox products is to first get what speaks to you the most and give it a try.
