Description
Experience the classic Goan festive sweet Mangane made with coconut milk, chana dal, sabudana and jaggery. This delicious dessert is prepared during festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Diwali.
Ingredients
1 cup=150 ml, 1/2 cup= 125 ml
Chanadal - 200 grams (1 cup)
Sabudana (Sago) - 80 grams ( 1/2 cup)
Freshly grated coconut - 200 grams ( 2 cups)
Jaggery - 320 grams ( around 2 cups)
Whole Cashew nuts - 20 ( used after spliting it)
Green cardamom - 20- 25
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Water as per required
