Today we spent the entire day exploring the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long – a UNESCO World Heritage Site with incredible history! From its ancient beginnings to its transformation over centuries and role during the war, this place tells the story of Vietnam. It was brutally hot though, so we had to take a break midday to recharge!
For lunch, we tried a vegan take on traditional Vietnamese dishes. Later on the same day, we headed to dinner for authentic bun cha (bún chả) at a local spot near our hotel. We also showed you the iconic low sitting seats Vietnam is famous for – such a unique dining experience!
This was a day full of history, culture, and incredible food. Hanoi didn't disappoint!
