i used trixter's awesome 8088flex (formerly 8088 corruption) video player for the 8088 processor. however, the video i'm playing i created myself. trixter never released an encoder, so i wrote my own encoder from scratch in VB6, and this is the result.
but yes, this is an actual 4.77 MHz 8088 powered PC from 1986 playing full motion video with sound.
