Before heading to Joe's Pub later that day, Amy Winehouse gave her inofficial debut on american soil for 'The Interface' broadcast in Manhattan, New York City. Accompanied by the Dap-Kings guitarist Binky Griptite, she played stripped-down versions of a few tracks of her new record 'Back To Black', as well as one of her first recorded covers of The Zutons' 'Valerie'. Afterwards, she stayed for a very laid-back chat about the success of her new album in the UK and Europe, how America compares to home soil and why she doesn't like award shows.
