Hon. Dr. Joseph Geng Akech, Minister of Youth and Sports for the Republic of South Sudan, officially opened the IMAGINE Juba Seminar 2025 with an uplifting and forward-looking address to athletes, coaches, educators, and partners.

🎙️ Reflecting on his first meeting with IMAGINE Academy just one year ago, the Minister recalled offering his blessing and support for the NGO’s national registration. Today, he celebrates the impact:

💬 “In just one year, IMAGINE Academy has achieved milestone. I congratulate the staff and athletes for their determination and vision.”
🌍 Looking ahead, Minister Geng shared an Olympic dream:
🏅 “At future Olympic Games LA2028, we want to participate competitively—not just as a young nation, but as a leader in sports. We will rise our flag on the international stage.”

👏🏾 Special appreciation to Undersecretary Deborah Akech for her unwavering support. Together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and our State-level partners, we are building a movement rooted in education, athletics, and peacebuilding.
