This classic runout arete test piece sits visible from the Stawamus Chief parking lot and many of the climbs. You first climb a dirty gully of strenuous fixed lines to get a couple hundred feet off the ground to the belay ledge. The climb crescendos elegantly and the crux comes quickly with the bolt at your feet. A scary route to work from the ground up, I took a couple of huge falls (not in this video) while first trying to get the toprope up. I'd recommend bringing a couple cams and long slings. It took me 6 lead attempts over 3 days to finally stop shaking out of fear on the arete.
