Indradaha :
Indradaha is a small but culturally significant pond located at the hilltop of Dahachowk, in the western outskirts of Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. It is a place where history, legend, and nature beautifully come together.According to local legend, during the ancient celebration of Indra Jatra, Lord Indra—the god of rain—was captured by the people of Kathmandu when he descended to the earth in human form. After being released, he was brought to this peaceful hill area. The pond here is believed to have been created in his honor, and thus it was named "Indradaha"

Kalu Pandey Memorial Park :
Kalu Pandey Memorial Park in Dahachowk, west of Kathmandu, is a historic site built in memory of Kaji Kalu Pande, the brave commander of King Prithvi Narayan Shah. He was martyred during the unification of Nepal, and as per his wish, was cremated on this hilltop from where his homeland Gorkha is visible. The park features his statue, a memorial site, and a newly built view tower offering stunning views of the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding hills. It’s a peaceful spot for history lovers, hikers, and those seeking a quiet escape with cultural significance.

Manakamana Temple :
Perched near the Kalu Pande Memorial Park in Dahachowk, there is a modest Manakamana Temple, constructed by soldiers from Gorkha after the unification of Nepal. This small shrine serves as a symbolic link to the main Manakamana Temple in Gorkha and honors the wish‑fulfilling Goddess Bhagwati. Though not as grand as the one in Gorkha, this temple holds deep regional resonance—offering a quiet sacred retreat amidst serene hilltop views and cultural heritage near Dahachowk.

View Tower :
Perched within the Kalu Pande Memorial Park in Dahachowk, the Dahachowk View Tower is a recently built lookout offering sweeping 360° views of the Kathmandu Valley, nearby hills like Gorkha and Nuwakot, and distant Himalayan ranges (Ganesh, Langtang, Gaurishankar) on clear days. Open daily from around 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., entry to the tower is free, making it a favorite spot for nature lovers, hikers, photographers, and history enthusiasts exploring the area

Bindabasini Temple :
Perched along the hiking trail to Kalu Pandey Memorial Park in Dahachowk, a small Bindabasini Temple sits quietly amid rhododendron forests and terraced fields. Though modest, it provides a peaceful spiritual stop for hikers, offering quiet views and a serene atmosphere.

Switzerland Park :
Switzerland Park, nestled in Dahachowk, is a serene hilltop retreat just 5 km northwest of Kalanki, Kathmandu.
