The Turing Way Practitioners Hub is a BridgeAI project offered by The Alan Turing Institute, supported by Innovate UK. This is a cohort-based programme that engages and involves industry experts, called Experts in Residence (EiRs), from organisations participating across the BridgeAI sectors.
The cohort members are involved in the development of case studies, inviting contributions from stakeholders in their networks, and sharing insights into the successes and challenges associated with the adoption of reproducible, transparent, ethical, and trustworthy AI in their respective organisations and sectors.
In this panel chaired by Malvika Sharan (The Alan Turing Institute, OLS), speakers Agata Ferretti (IBM), Clare Dillon (CURIOSS), and Elena Samuylova (evidently.ai) share insights and resources on how organisations can foster effective data and AI capabilities by upskilling teams. Main themes of this panel include aligning learning with real-world projects, and building a culture that values experimentation, as well as practical frameworks to identify skill gaps, integrate diverse expertise, and sustain continuous learning across roles.
The Practitioners Hub Showcase took place on 20th March 2025, celebrating the end of Cohort 2 and highlighting the Experts in Residence case studies, which can be found here: https://www.turing.ac.uk/turing-way-p...
