The Outer Hebrides and the Isle of Barra are fantastic kitesurfing locations, and probably the only location where you can kitesurf on a commercial airport runway!!
I was fortunate to be out on Barra is October 2023 when storm Babet hit the UK, and I scored some superb kitesurfing sessions
