Tonight's jam is by request - Thin Lizzy's 1976 hit "The Boys are Back in Town" from their "Jailbreak" album.
Just a classic from 1976 with amazing twin guitar leads, a driving bass line and hopping drums. The late, great, Phil Lynott and the "boys" struck a hit with a tune that almost didn't make the album cut.
For this version, I"m playing along with a 2005 live version of the classic staged during the Phil Lynott tribute at the Point Theatre in Dublin, Ireland featuring the almighty AND late, great Gary Moore singing and playing lead on this cut.
I botched the dual guitar ending a bit - but, that's why it's called practice!
Gear used: PRS SE DGT gold top, Sire Larry Carlton L7 into Tone X with a 1971 Super Marshall lead from Joe Satriani's amp vault - all running into Logic Pro and cut with Final Cut Pro.
