In this somewhat humorous style of video, we do an "on the job" live video trying to get a double bitted car style lock blade out of a D type bicycle lock because naturally somebody has snapped the blade in the lock because it is the wrong type of key. I would say it it's an easy mistake to make, but it's not!!
Go figure.
The trouble with this is as it is a disc detainer lock and the discs are not lined up, naturally because somebody has tried to unlock the lock although I was able to straighten most of them I was simply unable to get the blade out of the look because it is jammed in behind the discs and there is nothing more I can do beyond offering them an angle grinder which I will tomorrow morning.
As it says in the video sometimes it is better to catch your losses and say "you know what I can't actually get this out and it's no point wasting an hour@.
I might as well just cut it off and save my time and their time allowing them to buy a new lock from me of course so that we may continue on with our day.
