In this video I have discussed the lecture English paper conducted by KPPSC. I have also raised several concerns regarding some issues that the limited knowledge of literature displayed by examiners, leading to a repetitive nature in questions that stem from a specific literature portion. Furthermore, there is an overemphasis on intricate details from the basics of linguistics, often ignoring the core literary concepts. Such questions should not overshadow the fundamental elements of linguistics, core branches, emerging issues and recent developments that students must grasp. I strongly advocate for a second review of the papers set by another examiner to achieve a more balanced assessment.
