This intercultural music, literature, and dance project was conceived by Anette Maiburg for the Niederrhein Musikfestival 2025.
The performance features the Maiburg Ensemble, with:

Cennet Rüya Voß – Literary Reading
Mohammad Saado Kharouf – Sufi Whirling Dance
Friederike von Krosigk – Dramaturgy
A musical journey between Orient and Occident, inspired by the verses of the Sufi poet Dschalaluddin Rumi.
The Maiburg Ensemble weaves together new arrangements and improvisations that blend with mystical poetry, Sufi dance, and rhythmic dialogue – merging past and present, East and West, music and spirituality into one vibrant artistic experience.
The concert premiered as a new production on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in the courtyard of Schloss Dyck, Jüchen (Germany).
