WWF Over The Edge 1998 took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 31st. The event was headlined with a WWF Championship Match; Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Dude Love. These two also met in the ring at the previous WWF Pay Per View (Unforgiven) however this time there's a big difference - Vince McMahon is the special guest referee, Pat Patterson is the ring announcer and Gerald Brisco is the guest time keeper.
Elsewhere on the card D-Generation X take on The Nation in a 6 man tag, Marc Mero faces a mystery opponent, The Rock defends his IC title against Faarooq and Vader faces Kane in a Mask vs Mask match.
