Space Island “Enhanced” Soundtrack Ver | Feat. Bowhead | CTS

Note: I didn’t add Candelarva in the song on the basis that she actively makes the song worse with her contribution. Genuinely it’s so… ugh.

AYO, WTF? ONE OF THE HARDEST HITTING MONSTERS... AND YOU ONLY PUT HIM ON ONE ISLAND...???? EXCUUUUSE ME? WOW FINE.

He DID do great on the continent but AWWWW MAN. AND HE PLAYS SUCH A SHORT ON SPACE ISLAND TOO… my least favorite part of the whole island no less. I always thought the transition from main to intro to main to intro was not intentional because honestly it sounds so… unpleasantly repetitive but I digress.

Bowhead, while he isn’t AS groundbreaking as he is on Psychic island I admit really does tie the whole delightfully electric/orchestral mix that is Space Island.
Good on him for being more of a counter to the main melody and being a wonderful complimentary part to pair with Bowgart, his (for absolutely no good biological reason whatsoever other than “bow”) distant cousin!

I guess that’s one way to make the most repetitive part of the song less repetitive but damn with Bowhead now playing across the span of ONLY those annoying verses solidifies a problem that legit could’ve been easily been rearranged via the MIDI (what programs the order of the monsters tracks and animations that play) in the files.

Not only that, but yeah while I do find the sounds he makes nice, I do just feel like I’m so whiney about how brief they are too. 3 tracks? 2 of which are half the length of one normal track. Honestly on their own… they sound wonderful but I don’t quite MAKE IT in the eargasmic climax as I do via Psychic island. It’s like half way Amber all over again. Not AS bad but… Ugh. This is SPACE ISLAND and YOU’RE THE 5 ELEMENT SEND OFF, DAMN IT.

This honestly took a bit more of an effort to balance than I thought. Sometimes the bass on Bow was too deep, too shallow, too tinny. Took quite a bit of trial and error.

Anyways, don’t mind this edit too much. This was here to fill in the gap between the last upload and the next update to Workshop which will be quite a peculiar change thanks to some aid on my time on discord… when I was ON IT…

So I guess that ties the thing all together at the end? Adieu, Space Island. You truly were a feat of… astronomical proportions with your song most grandiose. Stogg’s celebratory sounds will be the track that forever echos in my mind. (Seriously, it makes the whole damn island.) Time for all of you to fucking die and get swallowed by the prism gate!
