We are Mark & Cynthia. In 2020 we sold our home to chase a dream, to cruise America's Great Loop, a 6,000 mile journey onboard our boat, Valkyrie.
After a few delays we finally departed New Bedford, MA.
In this episode we left New Bedford and cruised to Fishers Island, NY. We passed by Block Island, Newport and into the Long Island Sound anchoring in a small cove. There is a lot in this video as we show you all the pre-cruise procedure that our Captain has, plus our changing of the burgee flag ceremony. Stick with it because we have a lot of conversation on this video about Valkyrie and how she is performing on her first cruise since we docked for the Winter in October 2024.
