In today’s video, I’m at the storage unit putting a brand-new boat cover to the test and walking through my complete winterization routine. We’ll troubleshoot a broken rear strap and pooled water, safely sling out what’s trapped on the cover, then head home to finish the job: interior dry-out, RV/marine antifreeze via ear-muffs at the transom, fogging the intake to protect cylinders and rings, and a smart moisture-control plan. I also built a beefy 2×4 A-frame with a “spider-web” of ¼″ nylon rope for extra pitch, then shrink-wrap it (Dr. Shrink) and double-protect with the canvas. Finally, I cover battery removal/storage and why a small impeller leak is on my spring punch list.
