This is a new style of video tutorial for me...I hit record before I sat down to learn a new standard. This is Yardbird Suite by Charlie Parker. There's no script and no editing to this video whatsoever. This is simply me talking out loud, listening and playing along to learn the head for this bebop tune. I'm not sure if this is your thing, or of any interest or value to you on the channel, but I figured I would put it out there, kind of warts and all to show what it takes for someone who is not an advanced jazz player to learn a tune by ear.
Let me know if you like this format and would like to see more of it. Kind of my process on how I learn stuff in the studio.
