In this VladTV exclusive, Mr. Cheeks clears things up about Spigg Nice's bank robbery. Mr. Cheeks says that he’s not sure how that whole situation came about but hopes that Spig Knights comes home soon.
Mr. Cheeks also talks about his albums. He mentioned that his release John P Kelly was named after his late grandfather. “I wanted to make an album for him,” said Mr. Cheeks. The Queens rapper spoke on one of his biggest records “Lights Camera Action,” admitting that he didn’t like the record at first.
Lastly, he feels like Universal didn’t push his Freaky Tah tribute record at the time. Part of the reason why he went independent was that he did not want to wait to make music.
