Exploring an Abandoned School with a Shelter

Today, we're exploring an abandoned elementary school. This school was originally built in 1923 to meet growing demand. The school was partially destroyed by a fire in 1929. The school was rebuilt and expanded upon the following year. More expansions happened in 1950 and 1958. The 1958 expansion added the lunchroom. In 2008, the school announced its closure but the school didn’t officially close until 2012. Plans were made in 2022 to redevelop the building, but nothing has become of this.
Today, the school still sits abandoned. While some stuff remains, a lot was taken out when the school closed. This school had a fallout shelter in the basement, hence the barrels of food rations ( the food is gone). I explored this at dawn with almost no sleep the night before. I normally worked 3rd shift, so I’m not a morning person. There is no word on the fate of this school. Thanks for watching!
