How to ACTUALLY Learn Matchups

With a roster of nearly 90 characters, Smash Ultimate is a game that is HEAVILY centered around matchups. Despite the significance of this topic, players often feel overwhelmed and are unsure where to start when approaching a matchup for the first time. While learning a matchup is no easy task, properly utilizing strategies such as VOD review, theory crafting, and labbing can allow for players to improve their understanding of interactions and beat any character as any character.
