In this video, I will tell you the harsh reality of IIT life that most people never talk about. For every JEE aspirant, cracking the IIT feels like the ultimate dream. But the truth is, inside the IIT campus, many students face a side of IIT that can turn this dream into a nightmare.

I’ll share the real story of a friend who cleared JEE with a good rank, got into a top IIT, and then experienced the struggles of hostel life, ragging, and continuous pressure from seniors. What began as a so-called “introduction session” slowly turned into exploitation, affecting his studies, mental health, and confidence.

Ragging is not mentorship. According to UGC guidelines, ragging includes teasing, harassment, humiliation, or forcing students to do things against their will. It is a punishable offense, and every student has the right to raise their voice. Respecting seniors is fine, but losing your dignity and self-respect is not.

This video is not just about IITs – ragging and unhealthy pressure exist in many engineering and medical colleges. The goal of this video is to spread awareness and remind every student that their worth is much greater than their JEE rank.
