AMSONIA - Excellent Native Perennial - How to Grow & Care - Blue Star Plant

As I continue to add more native plants to my garden, one that I cannot get enough of is Amsonia. This North American native plant fills a wonderful niche in our garden, and is a high performing plant from season to season. In this video I speak primarily about Amsonia hubrichtii & A. tabernaemontana, which are the two most widely available species in my region. However, there are many more excellent species out there with different functions in the garden. That being said, many tend to prefer the same garden conditions as the ones I demonstrate with in this video.
