Nick Reiner has hired defense attorney Alan Jackson to represent him in the murder case of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner.
Jackson is a well-known defense attorney, previously representing Karen Read and Harvey Weinstein.
Nick was initially scheduled to appear in court Tuesday for the first time, but his lawyer confirmed to Fox News Digital that "he is not medically cleared to be transported to the court."
Nick Reiner is being held without bail.

Legendary filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner, and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead at their Brentwood home on Sunday night. Authorities believe the couple was stabbed to death.
Rob Reiner’s career spanned decades as an actor, director, producer, screenwriter and political activist.
He starred in the ‘70s sitcom "All in the Family" and directed classics such as "Stand by Me," "The Princess Bride," "When Harry Met Sally," and "A Few Good Men."
