The average woman spends $300-thousand on makeup and skincare throughout their lifetime! When I read a survey released by 'SkinStore' it got me thinking about how much I spend on makeup every month; after breaking a powder compact that cost $50 I decided to swap out some of my department store brands for ones I could buy at the drugstore to save money. I'm putting pressed powder, eyelashes, lip gloss and eye shadow I bought at the drugstore to the test to see how they compare to more expensive makeup brands.
